Datacenter Farm / Modular Container Deployments
Deploying modular compute containers on oilfield pads.
Twenty-foot and forty-foot ISO compute containers allow operators to land 500 kW to 2.5 MW per box on a compacted caliche pad without pouring commercial building foundations. To place those containers next to a tank battery or compressor station, the site and supply screen must account for oilfield realities: caliche dust loading on intake louvers, summer ambient temperatures above 105 degrees Fahrenheit, and safe separation distances from hydrocarbon vessels.
When you share your container spec with Methane.Exchange, we qualify pads and gas sources where the footprint, road turning radius, electrical voltage, and gas volume match your fleet hardware.

What to note in the description box:
- Container dimensions (20-foot or 40-foot ISO, dry cooler overhang, and total weight for crane rigging).
- Electrical feed per container (480V three-phase ampacity, plug/lug landing, and transformer configuration).
- Cooling architecture (high-ambient air filtration, closed-loop dry coolers, or single/two-phase immersion).
- Minimum contract duration at a single wellpad before potential redeployment.
